There are several ways to add your client's cruise information into a trip itinerary:


A. Use the Import Bookings drop down menu to import the cruise itinerary from an external source

B. Search for the itinerary from the Umapped cruise itinerary database 

C. Use the Add Bookings drop down menu to add the cruise itinerary


A. Use the Import Bookings drop down menu to import the cruise itinerary from an external source


If your clients' cruise itinerary is available in a system for which Umapped has built an integration, you can import the cruise itinerary details automatically. Systems that Umapped is currently integrated with include:


- GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, Travelport)

- ClientBase

B. Search for the itinerary from the Umapped cruise itinerary database 


1. From the Add Bookings drop-down menu, select Add a Cruise


2. In the pop up screen that appears, enter the Cruise Ship/Line name, departure Month and Year and click Search



3. Locate the appropriate cruise from the resulting list and select Import



4. Review the details that have been imported, add your clients' specific booking information and click Save!

C. Use the Add Bookings drop down menu to add the cruise itinerary

Adding comprehensive cruise bookings is a two step process:


1. Add a Cruise Booking

2. OPTIONAL: Add Cruise Stops 

3. OPTIONAL: Attach Supplier PDF to booking


**Please note that adding a cruise itinerary using this method is only necessary when a) you are not importing from a GDS/CB (or other supported system) and b) the cruise itinerary is not available from our Cruise Itinerary Database


1. Add a Cruise Booking


1. From Step 2: Itinerary, click on the Add Bookings drop down menu and select Add a Cruise


2. The 'Search Cruises' window will pop-up, click the 'x' to exit. 

** Please note: if you have not yet tried importing the cruise itinerary from our Cruise itinerary database then please use this search box to see if our database includes the cruise you are looking to add. If it does not, then follow the above instructions to exit this view.



3. Fill in all the appropriate details of the cruise and click the 'Save' button.


2. Optional: Add Cruise Stops


1. From Step 2: Itinerary, click on the Add Bookings drop down menu and select Add an Activity


2. Click on the Activity drop down menu and select Cruise Stop.  Fill out the details of the stop and click Save

3. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have added all the cruise stops.


** Cruise Stops will be added the cruise booking summary on the day of departure


3. OPTIONAL: Add Supplier PDF


1. In Step 3. Documents, click Attach Word of PDF.





2. Select Upload File, then Choose File, select the Word or PDF file from your computer and click Upload.




3. Go to Step 2. Itinerary and select the edit icon (pencil icon) next to the booking to which you would like to link the file(s).



4. Select the + Link Attached File(s) button in the bottom left of the booking screen.




5. Select the file(s) you want to link from the Available Files column and then click Link




6. Your file(s) will be added to the booking! The linked file(s) will be accessible via the trip PDF, web itinerary and mobile app.
