Umapped's ClientBase Sync integration is a sync via the TRAMS Central Database that allows you to access your CB ResCards from within your Umapped account!
This CB Sync integration is available to members on the Pro plan (and can be set up during your free trial period as well!)
Important to note: CB ResCards that have been added to a Umapped itinerary, using this CB Sync integration, will be automatically updated in Umapped after edits have been made back in CB.
Part 1 - Company Set Up
Please note that to set up this Pro integration, a company owner/manager must complete this release. Once completed, CB will grant access so that you will be able to search and/or display your CB ResCards from within your Umapped account. Our Support Team will reach out to you once the sync set up is completed.
Part 2 - Using the integration
Once set up is completed, follow these instructions to add your ResCards to any Umapped trip. Please note that once the setup is completed, all ResCards are available and searchable within the Booking Inbox:
1. From within your account, click on the Dashboard menu tab and then on Booking Inbox
To link your CB account ID to your Umapped account please email email@example.com - this will allow for your res cards to display automatically in your Booking Inbox. Before this link is set up, or to search any ResCards created by your company, you can search by keyword (Res Card Number, Passenger Name, etc.)
2. Select the ResCard(s) you want to add to a trip itinerary and click Add To Trip
To select the ResCard(s), check off the box to the left of the ResCard number.
3. Are you creating a new trip or adding to an existing trip?
For a new trip, enter the desired trip name and click Create Trip
For an existing trip, enter the trip name and click Add to an Existing Trip
This live integration will automatically override existing bookings whenever a change/update is made in your ResCard. We suggest adding additional itinerary and booking information/descriptions using the Add Content feature in Umapped to avoid disruption during the syncing of information.
Please note changes made to a ResCard created more than 6 month ago at the time of the sync, will not be picked up and reflected in your Umapped itinerary. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to have your ResCard synced if this the case.
Sync Time and Duration:
Umapped syncs to the TRAMS Central Database 6 times a day. Please allow up to 3 hours for your ResCards to be available/updated in Umapped depending on both the Umapped sync frequency as well as your company's sync frequency.
