Vendor profiles can be customized on a company level and can be customized by all authorized company Administrators and Power Members. 


There are two different approaches to customizing vendor profiles in Umapped:


A. Edit vendor profiles from the Vendor menu tab

B. Edit vendor profiles from within the trips you are building (as you go)


A. Edit vendor profiles from the Vendor menu tab


1. Click on Vendors in the top menu bar of your Umapped Account


2. Search for a vendor using the Keyword search (name of vendor, city). If the vendor exists in the public database or your database, you can click the blue "Edit" button. Otherwise, click on New Vendor on the top menu bar.






3. Add customized descriptions, contact information and photos. Once you have added information click Update.





TIP: When searching for a hotel profile from a hotel chain, try narrowing the search by location, for example: 

'Four Seasons, Toronto'


B. Edit vendor profiles from within your trip itinerary


1. Click on the pencil icon to the right of the booking with the vendor you want to customize.


2. From within a booking select the blue pencil edit icon located next to the vendor name to be taken into that vendor's profile in the Umapped Vendor Database

 

 

 

3. Make required edits to the vendor information, address info, contact info or add photos for this vendor. To save your changes click Update.

 


3. Return to Booking to save these changes
